Apple Bread

  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups pealed applies, diced
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 3 cups flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp. backing soda
  • 1 1/3 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
Steps
  1. Combine the first 5 ingredients by beating by hand.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Place in a ungreased angel pan.
  4. Back at 350 for an hour to an hour and half.
Do not ice.
Bananas can be substituted for the apples.
