  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. sausage
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can tomato juice
  • 1 cabbage head pre-cooked
  • flour
  • butter
Steps
  1. Combine the first 5 ingredients.
  2. Add small amount of tomato juice to misten mixture.
  3. Pull cabbage leaves from head.
  4. Place ground beef mixture in cabbage leaves and roll up. Repeat.
  5. Place rolls in a backing disk.
  6. Mix remaining tomato juice with a small amount of flour and pour of cabbage rolls.
  7. Dot with butter and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours at moderate heat.
