Pigs In A Blanket

- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. sausage
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 cup cooked rice
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can tomato juice
- 1 cabbage head pre-cooked
- flour
- butter
Steps
- Combine the first 5 ingredients.
- Add small amount of tomato juice to misten mixture.
- Pull cabbage leaves from head.
- Place ground beef mixture in cabbage leaves and roll up. Repeat.
- Place rolls in a backing disk.
- Mix remaining tomato juice with a small amount of flour and pour of cabbage rolls.
- Dot with butter and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours at moderate heat.
